Paul Figliozzi

Paul Figliozzi is an Executive Vice President and oversees the Howden U.S. Management Liability Division. His areas of concentration include directors’ and officers’ liability, Private Equity Sponsor liability and complex insurance issues in corporate transactions.

Paul is experienced is assisting companies with the design and implementation of insurance programs for various aspects of high-risk corporate transactions, restructuring activities, cross-border situations and M&A – including extended reporting periods (or ‘tail’ coverage). He regularly advises companies and their Boards on substantive coverage and policy procurement issues.
Paul regularly assists policyholders, across various industries, with strategic and technical advice on coverage matters and maximizing claim recoveries.

Prior to joining Howden U.S., Paul was a member of Marsh’s US Financial and Professional (FINPRO) where he served on the Executive Leadership Team and led the Diversified Risk Solutions strategy. In the role, Paul assisted Private Equity Sponsors with management and professional insurance coverages as well as group purchasing programs for portfolio companies.

Paul’s twenty-five year career has included management positions at Aon’s Financial Services Group and Underwriting Management positions within various specialty lines of insurance. Paul is based in New York.
