Elena Norman

Elena C. Norman, Partner in Young Conaway’s Corporate Counseling and Litigation Section and member of the Firm’s Management Committee, has extensive experience litigating corporate and complex business disputes, primarily in the Delaware Court of Chancery. Ms. Norman is ranked as a Band One Delaware Chancery litigator by Chambers USA’s – America’s Leading Lawyers for Business as well as named a Best Lawyer in America®, Corporate Governance Law.

Ms. Norman is Vice-Chair of the Delaware State Bar Association’s Corporation Law Council and is a frequent speaker on Delaware corporate law issues. Ms. Norman is a Fellow of the American College of Governance Counsel and serves as a member of the Delaware Judicial Nominating Commission. In addition, Ms. Norman serves on the Delaware Supreme Court Rules Committee.

Ms. Norman received her law degree from Stanford Law School, where she was an Articles Editor of the Stanford Law Review. She received her undergraduate degree in English from the University of Pennsylvania and a masters in legal and political theory from University College London. Ms. Norman served as a law clerk to the Honorable Henry A. Politz, then Chief Judge for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
