Emily Selck

Emily Selck is a recognized leader in the insurance industry with deep expertise in Cyber Liability and emerging risks. She is known for her strategic mindset, innovative problem-solving, and ability to translate complex cyber threats into actionable insurance solutions. Emily was named one of the 2023 Powerhouse Women of Cyber Insurance by the Cyber Insurance Institute and was nominated for Inspiring Woman in Cyber Insurance at the 2025 Intelligent Insurer Cyber Insurance Awards USA. She was also named a Cyber Leader in 2025 by Intelligent Insurer. Under her leadership, the Baldwin Cyber Center of Excellence was also nominated for Retail Broker of the Year at the 2025 Zywave Cyber Risk Awards.

As Senior Director and National Practice Leader for the Cyber Center of Excellence at Baldwin Risk Partners, Emily leads the firm’s national cyber strategy. She oversees technical sales efforts, drives product innovation, and mentors a growing team of cyber specialists. Her leadership has resulted in API-connected tools, AI-enabled placement strategies, and scalable service models for claims and pre-breach support—helping position Baldwin as a market leader in cyber insurance.

Prior to Baldwin, Emily served as Senior Vice President, Cyber at NFP Corp., where she focused on building tailored placement strategies for Financial Institutions and led the development of internal training programs and client-facing education. She previously launched and led M3 Insurance’s first cyber liability practice and later scaled the Cyber practice at HUB International across the Central and West regions, increasing revenue by over 900% and launching a small business initiative to expand access to coverage.

Emily’s thought leadership has been featured in Risk & Insurance, The Insurer, Security World, and other industry publications. She is a frequent speaker at events including Chicagoland RIMS, ISC2, PRMA Summit, and the American Veterinary Medical Association.

She holds a Cyber COPE Insurance Certification from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.A. in Organizational Communication from North Central College. Based in Chicago, Illinois, Emily is also a licensed Illinois Property & Casualty Producer through 2026. Outside of her professional work, she directs an award-winning competitive show choir.
