Daniel Simnowitz

Dan leads the Transactional Liability Practice at Sands Point, which includes representations and warranties and tax liability insurance. He has spent his entire career in the insurance industry in a variety of roles, most recently as a member of the leadership team for the Transactional Risk program at DUAL where he was responsible for the profitable growth of the Representations and Warranties Insurance product line, managing a team of senior underwriters and providing guidance and leadership with respect to coverage, pricing, policy wording and relationships with key business partners. Prior to DUAL, Dan underwrote Representations and Warranties policies at Berkley and QBE. Dan holds a B.A. from Boston University, magna cum laude, a J.D. from Boston University School of Law, cum laude and M.A. in International History from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
