Dominic Spinelli

Dom is Head of Transactional Insurance Claims for North America at WTW. He leads the claims function within WTW’s Alternative Asset Insurance Solutions (AAIS) division, overseeing the full lifecycle of transactional insurance claims, including representations and warranties, tax, and contingent matters.

With more than fifteen years of litigation, claims, and underwriting experience, Dom brings a broad perspective to transactional risk. Dom began his career as a litigator in private practice, handling complex commercial and insurance coverage disputes nationwide. He also represented insurers in hundreds of transactional liability claim disputes at Peabody & Arnold, a firm routinely retained by RWI insurers to defend claims. Dom later transitioned to underwriting transactional risks with Liberty GTS and VALE Insurance Partners.

Since joining WTW, Dom has already secured millions of dollars in transactional insurance recoveries for clients. Moreover, as an integral member of the Transactional Insurance Solutions team within WTW, he partners with brokers to develop innovative coverage solutions and enhance the client claims experience.
