Yazid Ebeid

Yazid “Yaz” Ebeid is an insurance and reinsurance professional with over 30 years experience with focus on claims analysis and coverage of complex claims. Prior to entering the insurance industry, Yaz worked as an attorney.

In May 2023, Yaz joined the HUB ProEx group and serves as the Employment Practices Liability Claims Leader for the HUB Central Region.
 
Prior to that, Yaz led the claims team in Illinois and Iowa, focusing on delivering client services relative the following types of claims: property, workers compensation, general liability, professional liability, management liability, employment practices liability, business auto, pollution and toxic tort.
 
Yaz serves as a claim advocate on behalf of clients relative to coverage issues that arise during the life of the claims. Yaz partners with clients in monitoring the development of the claims and intercedes on behalf of the clients when necessary to insure a swift and efficient resolution of the claims. Yaz also provide claims advisory services to help clients understand the coverages and the claim process.
 
Prior to joining HUB International in June 2010, Yaz was an Associate Director at Navigant Consulting in the Insurance and claims practice in Chicago. Yaz worked on a variety of projects during his 6+ years at Navigant. Duties included involvement and management in over 20 large-scale nationwide projects for leading insurance industry clients.
 
Prior to working at Navigant, Yaz was employed by IES Claims Services, a consulting firm based in Rolling Meadows Illinois with focus on pollution and asbestos claims consulting. Duties included management of 30+ projects and responsible for supervision and management of up to 12 employees.
 
Yaz received his undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago and his JD from Tulane University Law School.
